Here comes a rare chance to see all of Chicago artist Chris Sullivan's animated films, including a ten minute excerpt from his brand new work in progress The Parting Glass (An Irish Lullaby). While his movies have been described as filled with "dementia and decay" and "tinged with irony and absurd humor," Sullivan prefers to describe his work as a train ride that leads the audience through unknown territory. "I present damaged evidence of the murder sight and hope that you will be able to piece together my motive. I want the audience to be in the front seat as we travel through my films, because I am driving, and I don't want to be alone when I am thoroughly and hopelessly lost in the narrative of my life."
