In Knowledge Reigns Supreme (1991, 8 min.) self-taught rapper and philosopher KRS-ONE offers a critique of learning. Aka That Subliminal Kid (1995, 10 min.) is a conversation with Paul Miller aka DJ Spooky the Subliminal Kid. Taste (1995, 6 min.) is a musical meditation on the meaning of style. The runway is juxtaposed with a cultural celebration. Hidden History of Hip-Hop (1997, 4 min.) The roots of Hip-Hop are in the suburb of Scarsdale, NY. My Generation X (1997, 69 min.) a few days in Brooklyn and Manhattan. A woman contemplates a documentary on the ?X? generation, a couple of kids talk shit on museum steps, a photographer tries to pick up girls and far away there are rumors of riots.
