She is currently a writer for CBS News in Chicago. Her first novel, Falling Leaves of Ivy, hit the Blackboard list in 1992.

Her second novel, He Say She Say (Doubleday, 1997) addresses the real-life, down and dirty issues of commitment, from sex and game-playing to loyalty and trust.
