Formed entirely as a chance to let some aggressions out and have some fun, The Three Hubcaps Players musical poetry group have been known on occasion to relieve their premeditated performances into the world of subconscious spontaneity that this hectic city life calls for.

Ringing from simple urban demands like "members only" and "I.D. Required" to hilarious teenage put-downs referring to "your mama" and "who I saw you on a date with last night" became this group's first choice of topics. Fearless for the fun, with a "k". Jazzing for the jive, striving to stay alive in this game called survival, T.T.H.P. have no rivals or revivals since every performance has reformed a different lineup of thought process. Organized randomly in livelihood and spirit around the band Boogie Shoes, T.T.H.P. has played with members of various groups such as Jive Council, Trunk, The New Perspective (of Chris Greeng) and V-Nots, and has made its showing home at the Elbo Room. With a clown size smile and a look of scorn, The Three Hubcap Players contrive in a free form.
