Love Songs of early Post Communism & late Capitalism Robert Świstelnicki & Chopin Theatre Productions

Robert Świstelnicki's Love Songs of early Post-Communism and late Capitalism  is jazz poetry amalgam deeply rooted in the tradition of organic, richly textured, and "spacious" Northern European jazz.  Chosen as "2023 Album of the Year' (Polish Jazz magazine) it is "one of the biggest sensations in Polish jazz in recent years" (Maciej Nowotny, Editor Polish Jazz)

Tonight's concert  features renown jazz vocalist Grażyna Auguścik, pianist Robert  Świstelnicki, saxophonist Lenard Simpson, double bassist Ethan Philion, multi-instumentalist Isaiah Keith and guitarist Kenny Reichert.

Turret A Red Orchid Theater

WORLD PREMIERE

Two men survive in a facility deep underground somewhere in the wild woods of the Pacific Northwest, hiding away from something terrible looming just outside. Turret is an excavation of masculinity, love, loss and isolation. A claustrophobic carnival of carnage, carrier pigeons, cribbage, whiskey, music, mischief and mayhem.
