The third installment of The Familiar and the Foreign, the documentary, Now its Boiling Over (16mm, Germany 1992, 83 min) focuses on the Roxy, a Berlin club located on the edge of the Orwellian apartment buildings in Halle-Neustadt.

Teenagers come here to change from their normal attire into their identifying garb. They are right wing radicals, skinheads and neo Nazis, who when they emerge from the building in the evening have clearly defined enemies: ??autonomous? leftist, foreigners, and Gypsies. Thomas Heise interviewed six skinheads from the Roxy, who as individuals are likable but as a group are a menace.
