7 1/2 Cinema - Sound of Silent Film - Year #5 Access Contemporary Music

April 1st - 3rd.  ACM's Sound of Silent Film Festival is the only film festival that features modern silent films screened to live music, composed especially for the films by Chicago composers.

This year's festival features short films by renowned directors like Martin Scorsese, Gus Van Sant and Manoel de Oliveira a stunning animated film by Manga creator Osama Tezuka and a horror comedy created especially for the festival, among others.
